Overview
EcoBoost PRx is a proprietary blend of naturally occurring phosphate binders designed to permanently bind free reactive phosphorus (FRP). EcoBoost PRx binds phosphates quickly, safely, and effectively, making them unusable as a food source for weeds and algae. Professional strength EcoBoost PRx will not affect pH levels, has no water use restrictions, and is safe for use in lakes, ponds, lagoons, and other aquatic environments.
Improves Clarity
EcoBoost PRx, natural phosphate binders, work within the water column to clear up cloudy or murky water resulting from storm runoff, chemical fertilizers, organic decomposition, and chemical herbicide or algaecide treatments. The highly effective, all-natural phosphate binders found in EcoBoost PRx eliminate the need for heavy metal treatments.
Excessive Phosphates Fuel Poor Water Quality and Algae Blooms
Phosphorus is the primary nutrient that supports the growth of aquatic plants and is a natural part of the marine ecosystem.
Phosphates enter a pond or lake from leaves, twigs, grass clippings, fish waste, other organic matter, and storm runoff, which carries fertilizers and other contaminants that can begin to disrupt the natural aquatic ecosystem. Human activity is increasing phosphate levels at a dramatic rate and making headlines around the world.
High levels of phosphates can cause toxic algae blooms, rampant weed growth, and poor water quality. Successful aquatic management is limited only if one controls phosphates.
EcoBoost PRx is designed to quickly, safely, and effectively bind excess phosphates, making them unusable as a food source for algae and weeds. EcoBoost PRx provides a natural solution for excess phosphates where there were previously only heavy metal solutions. Heavy metals (such as aluminum sulfate treatments) negatively affect aquatic pH levels.
Fish, Pet, Livestock & Wildlife Friendly
You can apply EcoBoost PRx to lakes, ponds, and lagoons for irrigation or aquaculture. After treatment with EcoBoost PRx, water can be used immediately for recreation, fishing, and other activities. It is safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife, and the environment.

Directions for Use
- Determine treatment area as follows: [Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Average Depth (ft)] / 43560 = Acre-feet.
- Measure initial FRP (free reactive phosphorus) with your preferred test kit.
- Use the chart below to determine the amount of product required.
- For large applications over 10 acre-feet, please contact Airmax at (866) 424-7629 for site-specific treatment rates.

When to Apply
For best results, apply EcoBoost PRx when plants and algae are minimal or absent. If algae or aquatic plants are present, use EcoBoost PRx after performing an algaecide or herbicide application and only after plants and algae have fallen from the water column. EcoBoost PRx ensures the maximum amount of FRP is present within the water column before applying EcoBoost PRx PRx.
Use EcoBoost PRx as an initial or reset application early in the spring or when phosphates become a problem, such as following heavy rain. Use EcoBoost PRx as a maintenance application to continually bind excessive phosphates in the water column and maintain water quality.
How to Apply
Mix EcoBoost PRx with water to make a slurry and apply it to the surface of the waterbody with a high-volume tank sprayer. It is essential to distribute EcoBoost PRx uniformly for best results.
Water Use Restrictions
EcoBoost PRx may be applied to lakes, ponds, and lagoons for irrigation or aquaculture. Water treated with EcoBoost PRx may be used for recreation, fishing, and other activities immediately after treatment. Safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife, and the environment. EcoBoost PRx has no water temperature restrictions and may be used year-round to control phosphate.
