When to Apply

Target active, growing algae with Algae Defense. The plant will absorb the active ingredients in Algae Defense, killing it entirely.

How to Apply

Mix the desired amount of Algae Defense and pond water per label directions. Using a pressurized sprayer, spray the Algae Defense mixture directly onto the target algae. Add Treatment Booster Plus to Algae Defense for best results. Over time, treated algae will begin to brown and die. Once it is entirely dead, rake the dead algae away to prevent plant decay and pond muck accumulation.

Water Use Restrictions

We do not recommend using Algae Defense in ponds with koi, goldfish, grass carp, or trout unless carbonate hardness is above 50 ppm.

Algae Defense can not be shipped to Alaska, California, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Canada.
