Airmax, Inc. Acquires Power House Aeration®, Ice Eater®, and Weeds Away® Brands from Hydrasearch, Inc.

[Armada, MI] – July 14th, 2025 – Airmax, Inc., the industry leader in pond and lake management solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Power House Aeration, Ice Eater, and Weeds Away brands from Hydrasearch, Inc. This strategic acquisition further strengthens Airmax's product offering, making it the most complete pond and lake equipment manufacturer.

Power House, founded in the early 1980s and known for pioneering the original Ice Eater, has become a trusted name in surface aeration, aquatic circulation, and de-icing technology. All operations, including customer service, warranty support, and repairs, will transition from Hydrasearch's Maryland facility to Airmax headquarters in Michigan.

Hydrasearch, an engineering firm with ISO AS9100 aerospace certification and a preferred vendor to the U.S. Navy, has built these brands with a foundation of technical excellence. Their precision and manufacturing processes make this transition efficient and seamless.

This move is a major milestone for Airmax and our dealer network. The addition of surface aerators, circulators, and de-icers expands dealers' toolboxes and reinforces Airmax's commitment to delivering innovative, reliable solutions. 

 What This Means for Our Dealers:

  • Product Availability: No disruption in service, Airmax will continue to fulfill Power House orders and support existing customers during this transition period.
  • Warranty & Support: Airmax will handle all service, warranty, and repair requests moving forward.
  • Future Growth: Production of Power House products will ramp up at Airmax's Michigan facility, creating expanded product offerings and customer solutions.
